B assett Healthcare Network, a progressive health care network in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time remote Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their Virtual Health Department with opportunity for on-site work if desired. Description: Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school- based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

• Must possess NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in good standing, with 4+ years of NP/PA experience.

• Experience in Virtual Health care delivery preferred.

• Knowledge of current Federal and State regulations regarding virtual health services preferred.

• The position requires a tech savvy practitioner flexible to shifting focus to different virtual health services based on network need.

• Responsible for providing care for patients in all age groups for virtual care services, including but not limited to eVisits, on demand acute primary care, Medicare annual wellness visits, transitions of care , remote patient monitoring, convenient care and urgent care visits.

• Responsible for serving as “Inbasket Ninja” providing services to traditional clinical departments

• The Virtual Health Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will participate in projects that have Virtual Health implications by working with other operational areas throughout the organization.

• This position requires access to high speed internet, a computer/laptop to conduct video visits and a “sterile environment” free of distractions and in private setting.

• PA or NP

• National Certification as a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner
