B assett Healthcare Network, a progressive health care network in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time remote Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their Surgery Department, Urology division with opportunity for on-site work if desired.

K ey Information about this Position:

• Must possess NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in good standing, with 4+ years of NP/PA experience.

• Experience in general surgery / bariatric surgery and medical weight loss required

• Experience in Virtual Health care delivery preferred.

• Knowledge of current Federal and State regulations regarding virtual health services preferred.

• This position requires a tech savvy practitioner flexible to shifting focus to different virtual health services based on network need.

• Responsible for providing care for patients in all age groups for virtual care services, including but not limited to on demand acute visits with medical weight loss / bariatric patients, including but not limited to new and established medical weight loss patients, including preoperative and postoperative e-visits, transitions of care, remote patient monitoring

• Responsible for serving as “Inbasket Ninja” providing services to the general surgery division / bariatric / medical weight loss division

• The Virtual Health Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will participate in projects that have Virtual Health implications by working with other operational areas throughout the organization.

• This position requires access to high speed internet, a computer/laptop to conduct video visits and a “sterile environment” free of distractions and in private setting.

• PA or NP

• National Certification as a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner

• NYS Licensure

• BLS Certification
