Summary/Objective:


This position consists of working in all areas of video production, from project conception through completion. Video projects may include but are not limited to marketing and product videos, how-to videos, customer requested projects, quality control videos, and internal training videos. The pre-production aspects of the job include script writing, storyboarding, and outlining and production planning. Production aspects of the job include studio preparation, lighting set up, camera and audio gear operation. Post-Production job tasks include capturing and editing media, video authoring, and project and data management. This position is also responsible for acquiring and maintaining video production equipment and tools.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Setting up studio lighting and equipment used for video productions; operating cameras as needed for creating video or photo shots.
  • Video editing to create a finalized video production.
  • Perform other duties as needed by management.
  • Work with team to complete hitch installation videos which include but is not limited to: handling/lifting and assembly of products.
  • Vehicle acquisitions, pickup and delivery of vehicles.
  • Moving product into and out of inventory, keeping the studio clean, and keeping the video equipment organized and maintained

Working Conditions:


  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
  • May sit for several hours at a time.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: 5 years of videography experience within a company setting
  • Organization Skills: Excellent organizational, ability to multi-tasking and shift priorities as needed
  • Computer Skills: Software proficiency in Adobe Production Suite
  • Cross-functional skills: Ability to manage digital data; work in various video editing software systems
  • Education: BS or BA in Videographer/Digital Marketing and/or related field preferred
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate within a high function team setting

Supervisory Responsibility:


This role does not have supervisory experience upon hiring. This position will act as an indirect leader for the team.


Physical Demands:


Ability to read, write, type and sit for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day; ability to analyze and solve complex problems; possess a high degree of attention to detail; some travel may be required


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:


This is a full-time, salaried position working 40-45 hours a week.


Travel:


Travel will be 5% of the role.


Preferred Education and Experience:


Computer Skills: Software proficiency in Adobe Production Suite/3D visual graphics software experience (ie. Blender or Maya)
