We are looking for a Vice President of Finance to take over all of finance for our rapidly growing Cyber Security services firm. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Budgeting/Forecasting, FP&A, and Tax Strategy.

Job Details

• Responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and tax laws.
• Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining financial planning and analysis processes to support short-term and long-term goals.
• Monitors the organization's exposure to financial risks.
• Ability to communicate financial information and analysis to a variety of audiences.
• Identifies, assesses, and manages financial risks for the organization.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategic financial plans and projections.
• Ability to build and manage effective teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, including GAAP.
• Prepares financial statements and maintains financial records.
• Ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manages staff, develops and implements financial policies and procedures.
• Provides guidance and support to senior management.
• Develops and implements risk management policies and procedures.
• Develops financial models, forecasts, and analyzes financial data to make recommendations to senior management.
• Works with senior management to establish financial goals and develops budgeting guidelines and procedures.
• Several years of experience in progressively responsible financial management roles, with a strong background in accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Manages the accounting and procurement departments.
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the organization's financial reporting.
• Collaborates with senior management, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Provides guidance to senior management on risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensures compliance with budgetary requirements.
• Develops and manages the organization's annual budget.
