Vice President Of Engineering

Large Internation Group is looking for a VP Engineering to work permanently abroad.
Must be in possession NQF 7 (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Engineering.
• Have a valid Government Certificate of Competency, where required by law. (Would be
advantageous in other areas)
• Have more than 10 years’ experience in a related role, of which 7 should have been at a senior
management level or experience in a functional area.
• Have knowledge of winders, shafts, electrical systems and mechanised operations, with a good
understanding of Enterprise Asset Management and associated systems.
• Have the ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce and be able to work in a matrix
organisation with good interpersonal skills.
• Focus on safety and health as well as operational excellence.
• Focus on sustainability targets that will require operational ramp up according to plan.
• Have a solid understanding of ESG and a drive to a zero-carbon footprint.
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical
examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
