Kodiak is a full-service real estate investment firm focused on acquisition & development of multifamily assets in the Gulf-South region of the United States. We are hiring for the position of Vice President of Acquisitions in New Orleans, LA. This is a full-time, in-office role that comes with a salary and bonus structure with an estimate of $110,000-$150,000 in first-year earnings.


As Vice President of Acquisitions with Kodiak, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading our acquisitions of multifamily assets and expanding our existing investment portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to engage potential sellers, introduce our firm, and work the file from concept through close. You will be an integral part of our acquisitions team, fostering strong customer relationships while meeting and exceeding company goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Kodiak has built out best-in-class acquisitions systems consisting of both internal employees and outside marketing agencies. The Vice President will receive direct, warm leads of off-market multifamily assets and will work together with our in-house underwriter to acquire value-ad assets at the best possible price point.

  • Overcome Objections: Address customer concerns and objections with professionalism and industry knowledge to facilitate successful sales conversions.
  • Customer Engagement: Establish rapport with prospects, actively listen to their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their requests.
  • Service Presentation: Effectively communicate the features, advantages, and benefits of our firm to potential sellers.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process and post-sale support.
  • Conduct Outbound Calls: Initiate outbound acquisitions calls to potential sellers. These are warm leads who have expressed interest in selling.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized pipeline by tracking leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the investment and analytical team to improve processes, share best practices, and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed assigned quotas and performance metrics.
  • Lead Management: Identify and qualify potential leads, document relevant information, and update the CRM system with accurate data.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Experience working with institutional investors is a plus.
  • An undergraduate degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Persuasive and confident with the ability to handle objections effectively.
  • 5+ Years of work experience, preferably in commercial real estate.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, resourceful, self-starter.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Results-oriented and motivated to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Extroverted individual; strong emotional presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
