Job Description
The Head of Marketing will be a key member of the Zaelab Leadership Team (L1) to enable and accelerate the growth of Zaelab as we seek to build the premier B2B Commerce Consultancy in the marketplace. You will be responsible for setting and executing the marketing strategy at Zaelab to support the organization's ambitious growth goals. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in building successful multi-channel demand generation functions. In this role, you will report to the CEO.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with our CEO and any external resources to develop and execute an Analyst Relations program to raise the awareness of Zaelab within the analyst community.
  • Identify and define Zaelab’s ICP and industry trends to ensure Zaelab is appropriately positioned and communicating to the marketplace. Maintain and improve messaging across all channels.
  • Define and implement a modern demand generation engine that consistently yields qualified leads for our growth team.
  • Define and implement a marketing strategy that results in increased brand awareness and increased demand.
  • Support CEO in raising his industry profile as an influencer/thought-leader within the B2B commerce industry.
  • Partner with our Growth and Practice Leaders to understand their business and translate these capabilities into packaged/commercial offerings.
  • Build a content engine to produce compelling content that supports each customer journey phase and positions Zaelab as a thought leader in the B2B Commerce industry.
  • Lead co-marketing efforts with our key channel partners, including SAP, Salesforce, MACH Alliance, and commercetools, to identify and execute joint GTM activities.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on growth
  • Self starter that is unafraid to get your hands dirty and be in the trenches
  • Highly data-driven to help guide marketing decisions and investment
  • Seasoned marketer ready for a challenge because you ‘know your stuff’
  • Located on the East Cost, preferably the Northeast
  • Experience building demand generation functions that scale and perform
