Veterinary Technician / Assistant Specialty Services

Some of your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with hospitalized patient care as necessary
• Place intravenous catheters
• Administer medications IV, SQ, IM, and PO
• Cleaning and restocking
• Perform diagnostics including radiographs, urinalysis, bloodwork, fecal, and cytology
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with anesthetic procedures such as orthopedic surgeries
• Assisting veterinarians and technicians to provide excellent client service including communication, education, and developing relationships
• Dispense medications

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• We are a 24-hour facility, nights, holidays, and on-calls may be required
• Veterinary Technician or Assistant with a broad skill set, strong work ethic, and a quick mind to help manage our emergency caseload
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow
• Phlebotomy and advanced technical skills are mandatory
• At least 3 years of clinical experience are required
• Passion for saving the lives of animals
