Job Description

  • Follow guidelines and procedures outlined in the LEARN adopted drivers’ handbook.
  • Have the capability of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Perform other such duties as may be assigned.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with other staff members, parents/caregivers, and teachers.
  • Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of the LEARN staff.
  • Check in on daily schedule and take initiative with tasks with supervisors.
  • Participate in learning about students with disabilities.
  • Safely transport students to and from school and for appropriate school day trips on a daily and timely basis.
  • Participate in de-escalation training and apply strategies as needed.
