The role of the Valet Parking Cashier

• Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission Answers phone is a warm and friendly manner when a guest calls to retrieve a car. Collect all the necessary information from the guest so that the car can be brought to the drive.
• Maintains accurate control of keys for parked cars
• Completes a variety of reports regarding claims tickets and payments. Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc.
• Warmly greets guest who entesr the hotel, a patron, or wants to retrieve a parked car. Collects payment for parking services and accurately posts the payment. Deposits all cash receipts in accordance with established procedures. Directs valet parkers to retrieve the car.

Physical Requirements

• Able to work 40 hours per week and accept reasonable requests for overtime.
• Must have flexibility in availability to work according to business volume
• Must be able to wear a mask and gloves when required

Miscellaneous

• Valid Driver’s License required with a clean driving record
• Accountability and integrity are essential due to privacy of guest information
• Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission
• Work authorization in the United States required.
