Job Description

Essential Functions
  • Cover warehouse operator 1, 2 and 3 vacation as needed
  • Sample cheese per Glanbia SOP
  • Ensure warehouse meets and employees follow current GMP standards
  • Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct
  • Create and pick loads as required
  • Troubleshoot and assist in the repair of palletizer and pallet runner
  • Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)
  • Perform movements in the warehouse using scanner
  • Assure product ships on a timely basis per schedule
  • Assist plant management in projects as assigned
  • Run cheese palletizer equipment
  • Work closely with Warehouse Team Leader or Manager to create a safe and efficient work environment
  • Assist supervisor in efficient running of the shift
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Assure product being shipped meets customer specifications

Qualifications
Education, Training:
  • High School Diploma or GED and or related experience; Requires prior experience and knowledge of large volume warehouse operations
Experience Required
  • Experience with loading trucks using forklift and running palletizing equipment preferred but not required.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

  • Familiarity with GMP’s
  • Familiarity with computers and basic typing
