Job brief

o We are looking for a UX Designer to design software and platforms that meet people’s needs. You will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience.

o In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.

o Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.

Responsibilities

o Understand product specifications and user psychology

o Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback

o Create personas through user research and data

o Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success

o Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs

o Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)

o Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs

o Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers

o Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends

Requirements

o Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role

o Strong portfolio of latest/ best design projects with online link

o Excellent interpersonal and communication/ oratory skills

o Background in project management and research

o Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture

o Proficient in design software (e.g. Axure, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq,. etc). Preferably Axure.

o Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus along with basic understanding of what is possible using jQuery

o Problem-solving aptitude

o Analytical mind with a business acumen

BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
