Utilities Meter Technician Jobs

Summary of Position

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Financial Services, performs specialized duties in relation to water meter maintenance and reading, customer service work orders, utility billing processes and water conservation. Also works with backflow prevention and testing.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience and Training)

• At least one to three (1-3) years of successful experience in a computerized office environment, including: frequent interpersonal contacts in the performance of duties; interoffice and public communications; training and experience in computer spreadsheets and word processing; or
• Any combination of training and experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
• High school Diploma or GED; and

Special Requirements/Licenses or Certificates

• Must possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record at the time of hire or have the ability to obtain a valid Montana driver's license within six months of hire.
