Compensation:Proposed hiring rate of $20+/hour depending on experience

Requirements:

This position is part of the Rental team for Eldora Enterprises, LLC. A rental technician outfits guests to gear based off guest measurements, ability level and conditions. This ensures a great experience on the slopes! Our rental shop provides ski and snowboard equipment for many ability types. As a rental technician, it is important to retain product knowledge to best gear up our customers for the slopes. An ideal applicant for this position would have experience with POS systems, cash handling, customer service in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, organization, and communication.

• Ensures proper fit to rental equipment and provides a seamless experience in the rental shop.
• Adheres to all grooming guidelines.
• Follows established policies and procedures and is supportive of the company's core values.
• Ensures a positive customer service experience and provides premium guest service.
• Promote all Eldora rental products, policies, and procedures.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds.
• Helps facilitate organization of incoming and outgoing rental customers.
• Arrives to work on time and follows schedule.
• Upholds safety standards and practices safe working habits.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must have experience using POS.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Reports to and communicates effectively with rental management on needs and tasks.
• Participates in regular training.
• Ensures smooth processes for daily operations in the rental zones.
• Practices safety by attending meetings and wearing provided PPE when applicable.
• Opens and closes store locations.
• Performs inventory activities.

Education/Related Experience:

• Experience with customer service.
• Inventory experience.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• General knowledge of the outdoor Industry and associated products.

Technical:

• Customer service experience required.
• Prior POS experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Physical Capabilities:

• Must be able to stand on your feet for a minimum of 6 hours.
• Must have the ability to use touch-typing skills and can lift to a 50-lb. box or equipment and carry 50 yards.

Job Conditions:

In addition to the specific conditions below, every position requires the ability to shovel snow, lift up to 50 pounds, and walk on steep and uneven surfaces.
