Job Description
This is a remote position.

Panagora Group provides monitoring and evaluation services in the international development industry and implements the USAID/Sudan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (Sudan MEL) activity. The Sudan MEL activity provides technical and advisory services to USAID in the following components: (1) monitoring and evaluation; (2) development outreach and communications; (3) program support, project design, and capacity-building; and (4) collaboration, learning, and adapting (CLA).


One of the activities under component 3 (program support, project design, and capacity-building ) is to support the USAID/Sudan mission by migrating and managing performance data into the USAID’s Development Information Solution (DIS) reporting platform. The DIS consultant will train USAID staff and/or its implementing partners in DIS and ensure the existing data are uploaded to the platform.


The Consultant will be expected to commence work on or around June 22, 2023, and finalize the work within 30 working days.


Responsibilities


  • Draft a final report on the work conducted as per the agreed deliverables
  • Review all activity-level data for completeness and liaise with respective USAID staff for clarity and cleaning if necessary.
  • Prepare an inception report detailing the process and calendar of planned activities.
  • Ensure appropriate indicator disaggregates are created into the system per standard indicator definitions.
  • Set up results frameworks and indicators in the DIS system per the approved AMEL plans.
  • Train USAID staff on DIS, including roles and responsibilities in DIS management, access issues, and defining required information.
  • Enter targets and PPR indicator data per reported and approved data.
  • Test-run the report and ensure the queries are working appropriately. Ensure data entered is validated and approved by appropriate USAID staff.


Requirements


  • Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting similar on USAID DIS is preferred.
  • Advanced analytic skills.
  • Ability to work and manage teams remotely.
  • Masters degree in data analytics, information technology, or other relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in database management, data analytics, and information technology.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative information., and related fields.
