Overview

Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts during the week one week; 2-12 hour shifts + Saturday and Sunday the following week.

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.

Location: Joliet, IL. May be required to travel to other locations.

Responsible for providing efficient, effective, quality customer service through a variety of duties including, but not limited to, patient check-in, registration, scheduling, exam preparation, outbound calling, and some referral management. Complies with established company policies and procedures, HIPAA Privacy Rules and Duly Health and Care Confidentiality Policy. Ensures clear and timely communication including patient appointment status to clinical departments. Assist in overall department work that may include overflow from other specialty departments and/or locations.

• Performs delivery of patient care; draws blood, starts IVs, may administer prescribed injections, assist with ambulation and transfer, specime 2023-08-15T18:33:26.787+00:00 Overview
• The Urgent Care Tech provides direct care to assigned patients, partnering with the RN on duty to coordinate care. Under the direction of a licensed practitioner and according to established procedures performs patient care tasks and procedures as needed to ensure care, comfort, and safety of patients. Effectively explains and performs assigned procedures such as venipuncture, IV insertion and removal, vital signs, etc.
• Completes patient rounds and responds to phone, nurse and physician requests to ensure that patient and family needs are met in a timely manner
• Receive and triage patients in the ICC or Express care assessing and evaluating the urgency of the patient symptoms and need for medical attention. Will determine if patient need can be addressed at ICC or transferred to higher acuity facility.

Hours: Full-Time. 40 hours per week. Must be willing to work two evenings until 8:00pm.
