- Perform minor procedures, including wound care, suturing, splinting, and abscess drainage.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of New York.
- Willingness to participate in flexible work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 10-hour shifts.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Comfortable with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make efficient and accurate diagnoses.
