Position Type: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Shift: 7:00am - 5:30pm (Sat- Thurs)

Your Role With Us:
Unit Clerk- Imaging Dept.
The Unit Clerk assists the technologists by organizing patient support needs, workflow, add-ons and communication between patient, providers and technologists. The Unit Clerk provides support with billing information and pre-procedure requirements. The Unit Clerks also assist with transport of patients, supplies and lab specimens to appropriate departments. The U.C.'s aid in stocking, cleaning and supply orders, amongst other assigned duties.

Background/Expertise:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Medical Terminology class preferred
Experience:
Recent experience in medical setting (within the last 2 years) required
Previous experience in Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology required
Recent experience in an Acute Care setting preferred
License/Certification/Registration:
BLS issued by American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to set priorities and maintain performance in busy environments
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and abide by HIPPA standards
Must have well-developed computer skills and ability to learn new computer programs/applications/software as needed
