The SMD Treasury Management (TM) sales will have responsibility for sales growth accelerated by leading the ongoing transformation of the processes that impact the sales organization. The role will prove leadership to a team of production sales officers and associates both directly and indirectly influencing cross functional deliverables including implementation, billing, service, product, operations, technology and lines of business. The position is directly aligned to the Commercial Bank strategy and is critical to the development and execution of that plan.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of identifying opportunities for share of wallet growth within the existing portfolio and beyond.
  • Lead the development and execution of elements of the TM and Commercial Bank business strategy; creating plans for long term success of the team.
  • Exceed financial performance for deposit and TM solutions
  • Collaborate cross functionally to create a seamless end to end client experience that results in positive customer satisfaction as measured by VOC programs to be developed.
  • Where appropriate, raise the brand profile internally and externally of the TM organization elevating thought leadership while also collaborating with marketing and sales to monitor the competitive environment & market trends.
  • Provide leadership for prospect and client feedback to ensure customer POV incorporated into product development roadmap and alignment to Commercial Bank Strategy.
  • Lead the ongoing transformation of the TM sales organization including adoption of best practices to recruit, develop and retain a high performing team and creates an environment for high levels of engagement.
  • Liaise with senior management on TM transformation development.
  • Develop and enhance consistency across the end to end sales process within the TM team providing leadership for process improvement opportunities including the enhancement of sales force effectiveness KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred and/or certification preferred (i.e.: CTP, CPA)
  • 20+ years of relevant experience, at least 10 of which were in a people leadership capacity.
  • Superior organizational communication, change management, collaboration and leadership skills
  • Extensive understanding of cash management solutions & regulations governing financial products.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and retain high performing teams and cultivate complex internal and external customer relationships.
The estimated salary range for this position is $240,000 USD to $270,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
