Job Description

Position Summary:


FlexGen is seeking a treasury analyst to perform our company's treasury management duties and make recommendations to improve our efficiency. The treasury analyst will be responsible for all daily treasury operations, including banking relationships. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing changes and new procedures based on the thorough review and analysis of our current policies, resources, operations, processes, and procedures.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead issuance of Letter of Credit and/or Surety Bonds for various projects, including the tracking and monitoring of available balances, issue/expiry dates, and all covenants
  • Partner with Business Operations and across the organization to implement automation and process improvements by diagnose and identify problems and needs, and ensuring alignment with visions, strategy, and goals
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness or treasury operations; identify scalable alternatives for improvement
  • Create basic FX and commodity hedging programs as needed
  • Assist with internal reporting capabilities through interactive dashboard creation
  • Responsible for treasury related monthly and quarterly close processes
  • Provide flux analysis explanations of treasury related balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare, calculate, and consolidate treasury related required external disclosures
  • Improve weekly cash forecasting model
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and FP&A to forecast cash needs across months/quarters
  • Oversee daily treasury operations including but not limited to daily wires/ACH payments, daily bank reconciliations, liquidity management, investments, and lines of credit
  • Administer Expensify reimbursement process


Position Requirements:

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s in finance, economics, statistics, accounting, or related field is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Desire to help position Finance team as a strategic business unit rather than a team that only processes transaction
  • 3-7 years of experience working in a fast-paced corporate treasury department
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP software
  • Experience with online banking portals, preferably as a systems administrator or super-user
  • Willingness and ability to work cross-functionally with other teams, including Operations, Sales, and FP&A
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and time management skills
  • Ability to work 2-3 days per week from Durham, NC HQ
