Job Description

Project Manager

Traveling 90% of the time in the US (when not traveling the job will be remote)

W2 Contract 70-80/HR

***This position is going to require heavy travel all over the country. You may work in one location for a couple of weeks then a different location across the country the next couple of weeks. All expense covered, but candidates have to pay the expenses up front and will submit an expense report and get paid the next week. ***


This position will be working on distribution centers and other client set ups all over the country. Mail Sorting systems, material handling systems, conveyor experience are what they like to see.


Project Manager

PMP Certification preferred


POSITON SUMMARY:

· Work in a deployment environment contributing to the planning and execution of leading-edge Process Automation for the eCommerce and parcel sorting automation industries. Fast-paced, dynamic work environment.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (Include Budget, P&L, and People Management Responsibilities, as appropriate)

· Manage the deployment aspects of material handling system installation at various customer sites, including conveyors, mail sorters, and robotics

· Manage schedule and execution of pre-installation and install activities to mechanically, electrically, and software integrate a system to meet customer requirements

· Project planning and management

· End to end delivery of a set of projects through the full life cycle

· Risk management

· Quality assurance of deliveries to the client

· Delivering projects on-time and within budget

· Prepare agendas and lead different types of project meetings

· Manage project schedule within contract requirements

· Responsibility for managing of all changes

· Working closely with Management

· Document management

· Prioritizing the assignment of project resource to individual projects

· Resolving conflicting requirements

· Ensure that performance management practice is adopted by project delivery teams

· Responsible for the identification and mitigation of any risks associated with the project


MINIMUM:

  • BS degree or qualifying related work experience (minimum 6+ years)
