The Position:

As Transportation Supervisor you will lead a team of drivers and the distribution transportation department to ensure our deliveries are made in a safe and timely manner to our stores. This position is also responsible for creating an atmosphere in which upward communication is encouraged, and motivating drivers to achieve goals and objectives.

What you will do in this position:

• Oversee the Distribution Center fleet
• Take pride in delivering excellent customer service and building & maintaining relationships
• Confirm DOT and company regulation compliance
• Provide team member training

• Assist with quarterly safety meetings

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to plan, organize and manage projects and set priorities
• Ability to influence change management and operational performance
• Excellent leadership skills, including handling negotiations and collective bargaining environments
• Ability to identify challenges and opportunities by analyzing daily data and management reports
• Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment

Qualifications we would like to see:

• Ability to work flexible hours
• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
