The Alliance for Cancer Care is seeking a full-time Transcription Assistant/Chart Prep responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties requiring experience and knowledge of general office procedures. Types and prepares correspondence, records, transcription, reports and other documents as requested. Establishes and maintains effective filing systems. Assists with projects as requested by assigned physician/manager.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.

• A High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology

It Is Preferred An Individual Have

• Taken courses in anatomy and physiology, disease processes, and basic pharmacology
• An Associate Degree or some college-level education
• Previous transcription experience
• Previous medical office experience
