Trading Operations Specialist - Agricultural Trading

A leading technology firm that specializes in quantitative trading strategies and high-frequency trading (HFT). They are currently looking to hire an operations specialist to support their thriving Agricultural trading desk.

The successful candidate will individually manage and oversee trade capture, reconciliation, PnL calculation, trade confirmation and analysis. You will work daily with a variety of teams across the firm, including risk management, technology, treasury, accounting, finance and trading, to ensure your team's desk is running efficiently and to the highest standard.

They're looking for a driven, ambitious individual with experience in trading operations.

Responsibilities:

• Daily PnL calculation and substantiation.
• Trade and position reconciliation with clearing firms and prime brokers.
• Be an expert on the firm's proprietary and third-party trade capture, inventory management, and PnL reporting systems.
• Own the processes and workflows needed to support standard middle and back functions for Agricultural trading.
• Liaise with technology teams to secure proper support/ coverage for ongoing operations,

Requirements:

• Experience in finance or trading operations.
• Ability to work with databases, and utilize data from APIs,
• Experience in Excel.
• Preferred: SQL/ database and Python coding.
