ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

KIOTI Tractor is the U.S. subsidiary of Daedong Corporation specializing in the distribution of high quality tractors, UTVs, zero turn mowers, attachments and implements. Since its establishment in 1993, KIOTI has experienced rapid growth as a result of its unique ability to facilitate responsive engineering and production of KIOTI products specifically designed to meet the growing needs of North American equipment users.


Today, KIOTI Tractor sells its products through an expanding KIOTI dealer network of more than 500 dealerships located throughout North America. To assist with this, we have a strategically positioned U.S. warehouse distribution system and its streamlined parts, service and fulfillment center located in Wendell, North Carolina.


This will be an on-site position in Wendell, NC, with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.


JOB SUMMARY

The Tractor Product Line Manager is an energetic, passionate, and driven individual who will be responsible for growing KIOTI’s position in the marketplace. This position will work with Executives, Sales, Marketing, Product Support, and many other functional teams to enhance KIOTI’s sales channels and product strategies, enabling sales growth and achievement of company objectives. This industry expert will be responsible for establishing a product road map and sales strategy that will increase profitability and exceed customer expectations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

The Tractor Product Manager’s primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Create internal and external training materials as needed.
  • Assist the Sales Department with identifying market opportunities and program strategy development.
  • Participate in local and national trade shows to promote KIOTI products and increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to establish pricing models, programs, and financial measurements for new products.
  • Develop and deliver product presentations at trade shows and corporate events.
  • Lead business case development by establishing end user needs and market acceptance.
  • Develop the market research strategy and deliver voice of customer analysis.
  • Develop and maintain the product pricing and option configurations strategy.
  • Other duties as assigned in support of overall company objectives.
  • Evaluate current product development pipeline and further refine the tractor road map.
  • Develop strategies for increasing market share and maximizing sales.
  • Manage the new product development process across multiple departments.
  • Establish requirements documents for new products (specifications, components, features, etc.).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed.
  • Support marketing and product launch activities as needed.
  • Provide tractor competitive analysis on all aspects of the business (strategy, pricing, products, etc.).


EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient with collection, analysis, and presentation of results in a concise, actionable format.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product development, engineering, or product marketing.
  • Ability to manage business processes and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
  • Advanced capability with various software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build relationships and skillful in collaborating between interdepartmental personnel.
  • Ability to independently plan and prioritize multiple projects with attention to detail and work collaboratively across functional areas.
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5-7 years of related business experience in the tractor industry.
  • Approximately 20% travel required.
