The CAR Group is currently recruiting for an ambitious individual to join our excellent team as a Service Advisor at Norm Reeves Honda Vista.

Core Responsibilities:

As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for scheduling service work in the Service Department, selling additional needed service to customers while providing excellent customer service to all customers and guests. The Service Advisor is the conduit between the technician and the customer and must always maintain excellent communication. Service Advisors will also assist in other various tasks including:

• Offering additional added services to customers
• Providing follow-up progress of each repair order throughout the day and contacting customers regarding any repair changes as reported by the technicians
• Perform other duties as needed
• Processing customer monetary transactions
• Effectively analyzing quality control reports
• Greeting customers as they arrive into the Service drive
• Preparing thoroughly detailed repair orders after initial inspection with exact instructions, making special note of the main reason(s) the customer brought the vehicle in
• Advising customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
• Communicating with and listening to customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem(s)

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record
• At least 18-years of age
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
• Excellent decision-making abilities and follow-up skills
• Ability to work efficiently in both a team-based and independent settings
• Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic
