Duties

• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
• Follow all licensing regulations and maintain appropriate documentation and records.
• Monitor and assess children's progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to meet their individual needs.
• Conduct daily activities that foster children's social and emotional skills, including playing, reading, singing, and storytelling.
• Establish and maintain open communication with parents and guardians to ensure their involvement in their children's education and development.
• Create a nurturing and safe classroom environment that promotes growth and development
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Implement an age-appropriate curriculum and create lesson plans that promote children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development.

Requirements

• A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
• Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Must pass a background check
• Must meet all state licensing requirements for a preschool teacher.
