POSITION: Entry Level Fabrication Position

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Fabrication Supervisor

STARTING WAGE RANGE: $20.20-$21.00

DATE: August 2022

Position Summary:

Team members will assist in the manufacturing of Thunder Jet Aluminum boats by fabricating aluminum components in preparation for welding and installation. This is an entry level position that may include, but not limited to the following job duties and responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Candidate must be reliable. Regular attendance is required.
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• May be required to perform other duties as needed
• Operate overhead crane system, CNC router, press brake, chop saw, band saw, sheer, and other equipment as necessary.
• Work overtime as needed to complete daily tasks or projects
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Responsible for compliance to safety policies and procedures, as well as identifying risks and hazards prior to job completion.
• Learn and assist to preform daily and weekly maintenance on all equipment
• Work with team and other departments to ensure quality products and follow documented work instructions.
• Clean and distribute parts to their appropriate location within the facility

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for 10+ hour shifts.
• Must be willing and able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow established safety processes.
• Working knowledge of a variety of equipment and hand/power tools.
• Detailed, organized and displays good time management and attention to detail
• Self starter, team player with a good safety awareness.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.
