Job Description

The Opportunity

Join an innovative medical device company as a Therapy Specialist in one of the most exciting fields of cardiology: trans-septal mitral valve replacement. In this position you will be covering American centers participating in our ongoing clinical studies.

Company Description

HighLife is a medical device company focused on Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement (TMVR) founded in 2010 in Paris, France. The technology is intended for treatment of patients suffering from mitral valve regurgitation and is currently in a stage of clinical evaluation. Mitral regurgitation (MR) is one of the most common valvular heart diseases in an ageing population and in patients with heart failure in the USA and in Europe. Itoccurs when valve leaflets (posterior and anterior) prolapse or lack coaptation (closing) and results in a phenomenon called valvular insufficiency.

Our goal is to provide a minimally invasive prosthetic mitral valve that is implanted on a beating heart, while preserving the native valve structure and respecting the surrounding anatomy. Ease and safety of use are key elements of the HighLife technology. Additional information can be found onwww.highlifemedical.com
