Salary is commensurate with education and experience, starting at $60,049-$66,768. Full time - 40 hours per week, benefits eligible.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Adult Outpatient (AOP) Therapist will be to provide mental health services based on the application of clinical social work and/or clinical psychology theory and principles.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing services with the goal of collaboration and coordination with other community service providers;
  • Delivering reimbursable hours of service compliant with established standards;
  • Completing weekly initial assessments and making appropriate referrals;;
  • Completing all documentation associated with the financial, clinical, legal, or regulatory management of the case or the Center's operations in a timely and accurate manner; and
  • Providing at least two evidence based groups with adolescents and/or adults per week;
  • Providing therapy that includes goal oriented, and empirically based models for individual, group, family, and couples in the office;
  • Participating in training and supervision and providing public information;

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in the mental health field; and
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university and a master's degree from an accredited school of social work or counseling
  • Licensed Master's level Social Worker (LMSW), a Licensed Master's level Psychologist (LMLP), a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW, or a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist (LCP) in the State of Kansas; also, LCPC; LMFT; LCMFT. Strong preference for those with clinical licensure;
  • Reliable transportation and a valid, unrestricted driver's license
Bert Nash Center requires proof of Covid-19 immunization prior to starting any position. Covid-19 vaccine series must be completed or in process to be cleared for new hire orientation.
