Testing Analyst

Remote, but then moves to a Hybrid Work model.

Charlotte, Detroit or Lewisville

You will work closely with the QA Manager, business stakeholders and delivery teams to drive accountability and quality across key initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the assigned QA personnel on the project, in all levels of test execution.
• Provide guidance to less experienced QA personnel.
• Evaluate testing results and logged issues/defects.
• Participate in test execution, as necessary.
• Identify gaps in the QA and testing processes, and work with QA Manager to address them.
• Communicate testing results, level of quality, and product readiness to QA Management and the project team.
• Development of the testing artifacts required for each assigned initiative.
• Participate in release planning and product roll-out.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., qTest, JIRA, Quality Center).
• Strong knowledge of, and experience in, Agile methodology and related processes.
• Excellent testing skills.
• 8 or more years of manual testing utilizing UI experience and experience writing Test Cases and Test Execution.
• Strong SQL skills: ability to create complex queries.
• Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other related field of study.
• Knowledge of FICO origination manager is desirable.
• Software development experience is desirable.
• Ability to define requirements/user stories is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, concepts, and processes.
