The Boeing Company is looking for a Test and Evaluation Lab Technician to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The Boeing Test & Evaluation Midwest Environmental Labs support various defense, space and commercial programs. There are several areas of Environmental Test performed at this location which include: Acoustics, Airflow, Dynamics, Hypersonics, Thermal and Vibration. This hands on position will include all facets of the test lifecycle from test design, setup and execution to test teardown.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; entry-level or associate level Test and Evaluation Lab Technicians.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems
  • Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems
  • Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements
  • Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down
  • Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities
  • Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results
  • Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associate’s Degree in a technical field OR at least two (2) years of work experience in a related field

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience directly supporting flight/lab test operations
  • Experience with precision test, measurement devices, and sensor selection

Typical Education/Experience:

Entry-Level (level 1)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).

Associate (level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range for entry-level: $39,100-$52,900

Summary pay range for associate level: $47,600-$64,400
