Territory Management - Distribution is responsible for cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts. Sells products and services that help facilitate patient care predominately through optimizing the supply chain and the selection and management of the products within.

Accountabilities
- Collaborate with manufacturer’s reps to effectively position Edgepark services for growth versus competitors
- Understand Edgepark’s diabetes supply category and ordering process, while demonstrating knowledge of industry trends, developments, key competitors, terminology, technology, challenges, reimbursement, and government regulation
- Conduct in person visits, formal meetings and new technology demonstrations with accounts
- Build and grow high-level, long-term, trusted consultative relationships with healthcare professionals such as nurses, medical assistants, or general clinic staff
- Present a moderately complex broad-based portfolio of solutions that meet Cardinal Health and customer goals
- Generate new business within a defined territory with approximately 70 – 100 accounts
- Sell the benefits of Edgepark for the Diabetes portfolio with call points to Endocrinology clinics and Primary Care networks.
- Position Edgepark offerings to match a customers' unique business needs
- Manage the success of the customer accounts by meeting/exceeding the goals and objectives identified by Cardinal Health
Qualifications
- 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
- Ability to facilitate internal and external constituents’ needs independently or with minimal guidance
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting towards meeting established goals
- 3+ years related sales experience (referral generation, manufacturer product sales, managed care/market access sales) highly preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Advanced computer skills, with experience in systems such as Salesforce, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine
- Ability to travel at least 40% of time (occasional overnights required)
- Knowledge of regional hospital systems
- Documented track record of sales success with proven knowledge in business area
- A Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position. This includes either:
- 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine
- 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
- Highly effective organizational skills
- Influential, with the ability to increase account profitability
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
