Job Description
Responsible for trash/debris mitigation at all exterior areas of the Medical Center grounds and maintains aesthetic appearance of medical center grounds.

Essential Functions:
  • Clean and remove trash and debris at all campus entrance, sidewalk and driveway locations, gutters, trashcans, cigarette urns and other exposed areas on a daily basis or as needed and required.
  • Operates facility mobile street sweeper equipment, powered equipment and hand tools.
  • Assist the Senior Gardener as required.
  • Promotes and enforces a safe environment for members, patients and staff.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.

Grade 105

Basic Qualifications:
  • Valid California driver's license.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two (2) and three (3) syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
  • Also, refer to Position Specifications outlined in the appropriate collective bargaining agreement.
