Position Summary:

The Alaska Center for Rural Health is seeking applicants for non-credit Adjunct faculty positions for the department. This is a pool and an application is not a guarantee of hire.

Duties:

100Facilitate or Co-Facilitate a variety of virtual and/or in-person education and training opportunities for AHEC programming including but not limited to: Youth MHFA teen MHFA Basic Life Support QPR Suicide Prevention Training Provide the following to ACRH-HW: Roster and grading for each course taught Course evaluation for each course taught Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Remain in good standing and follow all certification standards for Instructor as required by the accreditation body of each respective training type.Essential
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of accepted instruction methods. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Public speaking skills. Customer service skills.

Typical Experience:
2 years relevant experience.

Required Education or Training:

Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in field related to the position, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
