Responsibilities: The Engineer I (Electrical) is accountable for small projects assigned and specific electrical discipline
design activities. Assigned tasks and projects must be completed with attention to quality and service within the project
budget. The guidelines, practices and policies of the discipline, division and firm must be followed. The tasks and projects
may be complex, requiring creative and analytical solutions. He/she refers assignments to the Senior Engineer for general
review and non-routine items for a detailed review. He/she is responsible for the control of the production efforts on
specific project aspects and helps assure that the project is completed on schedule, within budget and to the satisfaction
of the client. Additionally, he / she is responsible for coordinating efforts between disciplines and work as a team player. Qualifications
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
1. Accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering
1. Understanding of building electrical systems
2. Experience in the architectural engineering construction environment (2 years preferred)
3. Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
4. Proven experience performing the responsibilities of a Graduate Engineer (Electrical)
Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
1. EI or in the process of preparing for FE exam
