Pay Rate 
  • $27.21/ hour - $42.99/ hour based on experience

Basic Function and Responsibility
Provide advanced imaging services to patients for both vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures with departmental expectations met and sustained.
Essential Functions 
  • May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.
  • Scrub in during cases to assist the attending physician during the procedures while circulating the room. Complete billing documentation and supply management requirements.
  • Preview films obtained for quality, post-process images as needed and ensure images are verified and saved into PACS. Provide exemplary care to our patients while maintaining the Culture of Yes values of Care, Deliver, Innovate, and Serving. Maintain current certifications and licensure status.
  • Set up procedures including room preparation, table set-up, and sterile technique.
  • Understand time clock expectations and adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines. Ensure confidentiality of all patient information is maintained.
Supervision Received 
Supervision is received from the director, manager, and supervisor of radiology
Supervision Exercised 
Supervision over student tech assistants and students performing clinical rotations
Required Qualifications
  • Vascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV), or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications 
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
Physical Demands 
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs.
This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a healthcare facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holidays and work during inclement weather will be required.
