Job Description
Summary You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Rader Technologies Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the work load development and execution of tasking in support of a variety of DoD sponsors. You will develop repair concepts and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) for High Voltage Power Supply (PS) assemblies, often times with little to no existing technical documentation. You will develop, first article testing, design verification testing, integration and transition to production tasks on complex analog, digital and/or electronic circuit cards, magnetics and modules. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialize experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical guidance and leading test and evaluation of radar systems to evaluate system readiness or resolve issues impacting quality control for an electronic weapon systems programs.
