Technical Writer Jobs

What You'll Do:

• Tackle new projects as needed.
• Lead and participate in the implementation of projects as well as system improvements.
• Work with the customer and/or the subject matter authority to ensure technical accuracy of documentation.
• Handle content in a variety of places, including the Intranet. Partner with other Learning and Development team members. This could include editing existing content, drafting new processes, working on new projects or partnering on articles.
• Write, develop, and maintain less complex on-line support systems. This includes the following functions: audience/customer needs analysis, information gathering and analysis, project planning, status reporting, and customer satisfaction assessment.
• Establish relationships with internal business partners by assisting with technical documentation requests.
• Under general supervision, act as a resource on writing on-line/paper techniques as well as presentations customers and staff.
• Conduct maintenance projects in on-line manuals as needed.

Who You Are:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Must possess ability to maintain high degree of accuracy and pay strict attention to detail
• Knowledge or experience with HTML, Information Mapping, and application of online documentation theory highly preferred
• Knowledge of Dreamweaver highly preferred
• Prior Technical Writing experience highly preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required
• Bachelor degree (English, journalism, or technical writing preferred) or equivalent required

Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $20.84 - $39.81 / hour Additional Information:
