Job Description
This is a remote position.


Please Note:


  • The Client is headquartered in Washington, DC, with the primary Data Center in Kansas City, MO and a secondary site in Chicago, IL. There are five Regional Offices located in Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Beltsville, Maryland; Oakland, California; and Temple, Texas. In addition, OIG has more than 40 smaller offices, with staff ranging from 1 to 10 employees in the Continental United States.
  • This position is Fully Remote.


Description of Work:


  • Conduct quality review of materials.
  • Acquire subject knowledge by meeting and collaborating with product developers, observing the performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals.
  • Write, rewrite and/or edit technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.


Requirements


Required Skills:-


All proposals shall comply fully with each of the technical specifications:


  • The Candidate shall have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in technical writing.
  • The Candidate shall have at least 2 years of demonstrated experience writing information technology related policy.
  • Information Technology Technical Writer.
  • The Candidate shall have at least 2 years of demonstrated experience writing technical documents and standard operation procedures (SOP).
  • The Candidate shall have Bachelors of Arts or Science, preferably in English or Communications.
  • The Candidate shall have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience utilizing the Microsoft Office suite to include Word and Powerpoint.
