Technical Writer Pay And Benefits

• 40 hours/week, 11 Month Assignment
• Hourly pay: $29/hr
• Worksite: Leading technology and data solutions company (Remote, Must work PST hours)

Technical Writer Responsibilities

• Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Confer with the client to establish technical specifications and to determine the subject material to be developed for publication.
• Write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions.
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions.

Technical Writer Qualifications

• 3+ years of strong written verbal communication using them.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• 2-4 years of experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or English, journalism, or communications.
• Experience in creating documentation for a technical audience.
• 3+ years with strong editing skills.
• Experience in technical writing and for end users as well as for developers.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• 3+ years of experience with development teams.
• Ability to read some programming code.

Compensation: From $29.00 to $29.00 per hour
