• HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $60 – $80/hr
• LOCATION: Remote - United States only
• JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
• ESTIMATED DURATION: 20h/week - Short term

THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements
Please note that this is a short-term project, 3-4 weeks.
Must skills:

• 3-5 years of technical writing experience
• Knowledge of Cloud operations and concepts
• GitOps experience

Nice to have:

• GCP experience or any other cloud platform.
• DevOps experience

What You’ll Be Working On
Our client need someone to document processes and tools for new employees or contractors will use it as a part of their job. The initial document will need to establish a framework for future documents. Each document should include a description of what the process is, what it’s used for, who would need access to it, how they would get access, and links to any existing policy docs related to the tool or process, a walk-through of using the tool or process, and development of a tutorial environment in which the user can validate their understanding of the document.
Deliverables:

• Document describing getting a project created in GCP
• Document describing making changes to source code residing in GitHub including branching, pull requests, approvals, and merging branches
• Document describing getting access to Github and getting assigned to a proper group
• Design template and organizational structure for onboarding documentation
• Document describing getting access to GCP and assigned to a proper group
