Technical Training Specialist /Automated Guided Vehicle (Agv) Trainer (Remote)

Dematic has an immediate need for a Technical Training Specialist for internal and customer training within our Customer Service department at Dematic. This employee may be remote, but must be open to travel up to 70% within the United States. Familiarity with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is required.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $65,000 to $140,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will do in This Role:

• Development of student guides and training power points.
• Understand and communicate how Dematic’s custom solutions integrate into the operation of a material handling system.
• Develop and deliver quality operations, mechanical maintenance, controls maintenance, specific equipment, and customer solution training to internal and external customers.
• Adapt and adjust quickly to changing curriculum and equipment.

What We are Looking For:

• 3 years experience in material handling industry.
• Experience with Programmable Logistic Contollers (PLC) and exposure to PLC programming and industrial controls.
• Ability to read and interpret industrial mechanical and controls drawing sets and design requirements.
• Experience designing and delivering maintenance training for customized products and systems.
• Experience and proven ability to design and develop technical training materials.
• Experience with: Machine diagnostics and repair, and automation
• Exceptionally strong communication and training skills and strong process/detail orientation skill.
• Strong desire for helping others learn.
• Familiarity with mechanical disciplines.
