Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master with Financial Services and Payments experience for a direct hire job opportunity with a client located in the Winston-Salem NC area.

Local candidates are needed as this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days onsite each week.

The Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master will work in collaboration with Product Management, Operations & Technology, manage projects through their complete lifecycle. Must have Financial, banking and payments experience, especially knowledge of SWIFT, FED, CHIPS, or ACH.

Salary Range: $130-145K base with 10% bonus eligibility. Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.

Responsibilities for the Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master include:

• Influence project participants to achieve successful outcomes.
• Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues.
• Track project milestones and dependencies will manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure on-time completion of tasks from all groups.
• Communicate effectively with internal personnel at all levels and external clients.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Program Management Office to provide project status.
• Assist with requirements documentation, User Story creation, develop detailed project plans, and identify tasks, roles, and responsibilities.
• Keep senior management apprised of project status and communicate issues in a timely manner.
• Manage and report on project financials.
• Ensure PMO processes are followed, and all relevant artifacts are produced and filed properly.

Required experience includes:

• Must have Financial, banking and payments experience and knowledge of SWIFT, FED, CHIPS, or ACH
• PMP and Scrum Master certifications highly preferred
• 7+ years of experience as a hands-on Technology Project Manager in full SDLC with a track record of delivering large-scale complex projects & initiatives; working across the organization to ensure the overall success of the project.
• Hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence in project delivery.
• B.S. degree in Business Management, MIS, or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to develop and manage project financial plans and budgets with CA PPM, MS Project, and MS Office Suite
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with strengths in Agile process; running daily standups, backlog grooming sessions, and facilitating sprint sessions.
• Strong facilitation skills with working committees and steering committees
