Description


We are seeking a Technical Program Manager that will support the execution of Privacy & Security by Design practices across products, infrastructure, and process at Verily. This role is responsible for overseeing programmatic support of privacy & security controls, mechanisms and protocols across the organization and product lines. This team member will work cross-functionally with the Privacy/Legal, Data Governance, Trust & Compliance, Engineering and Product Teams. The role sits within the CISO organization within security & privacy engineering.


Responsibilities


  • Lead complex projects using technical expertise from start to finish.
  • Foster a security & privacy champions community.
  • Develop metrics, visualizations, and compliance artifacts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for planning, risk management, and cross-functional communication.
  • Drive compliance projects, update training, and enhance workflows.


Minimum Qualifications


  • 3rd party commercial tooling (e.g., OneTrust, JIRA, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 4 years of experience in a related role and experience with concepts and practices such as privacy program management and information security.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field or equivalent practical experience.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Proficiency in recognizing stakeholders and diverse perspectives, uniting individuals to align on and effectively implement a shared strategy.
  • Prior exposure to regulated healthcare and life sciences companies a plus.
  • Certifications related to privacy and/or security such as CIPP or CISSP.
  • Knowledge of regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS), etc.
  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or similar field.


The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $199,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
