We are seeking a hands-on, smart, dedicated, experienced, results-oriented Technical Product Manager to run a high-profile SCRUM team. In this role you’ll be the “product & technology bridge” between business and development teams, you will be one of the faces


of SquareTrade to our solution provider and partners, and you will represent them to our internal development teams. This includes leading cross-functional teams to understand key business objectives, define product requirements , discuss trade-offs, devise effective solutions, and manage the implementation, testing and launch end to end. You’ll work directly with merchant partners and multiple internal stakeholders to ensure success. We expect you to have exceptional product/project management, communication, and leadership skills. We need you to be a problem solver who is creative in conceptualizing and defining innovative opportunities. This is a highly visible role across the company with a huge impact.


Responsibilities:


  • Partner with external/internal business stakeholders, tech lead/architect, product managers, analytics, legal, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand and publish business, product requirements to development team
  • Take ownership of team, managing and mentoring team members toward deliverables and project completion
  • Improve team SDLC processes to increase transparency, effectiveness, and quality
  • Understand technical capabilities of our systems and our partners’ end to end
  • Understand high-level business objectives and continually align our SquareTrade Integration roadmap to needs of the business
  • Provide technical support to pre-sales and post-sales situations
  • Formulate technical strategies and tactics to scale our service architecture to support clients globally
  • Understand potential implementation techniques, tradeoffs and propose the most appropriate approach that will achieve the desired objectives


Qualifications


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, to both technical and business audiences
  • Developer background and BS in engineering or computer science is highly desired. MBA or other business background a plus
  • Successful track record of managing project against deadlines
  • The ability to understand customer issues and map high level business issues to the technical solutions
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks across multiple disciplines
  • Ability to be the primary point of contact with external partners, stakeholders
  • 3+ years product management experience
  • Knowledge of Scrum, and JIRA will be helpful

(Colorado Only) Pursuant to applicable law, SquareTrade estimates the possible compensation for this role, if hired in Colorado, to be within the following range: $125K - $150K.
