Job Title: Technical Laborer

Location: Hope Community Television, Hope, AR

Department: Technical – Temporary - Full Time

Reports To: Technical Supervisor

Safety Sensitive Position

Pursuant to Act 593 of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for a special project work in the field under the direction of the

system technical manager.

JOB DUTIES

1. Perform tap audits to retrieve certain equipment and to change out taps as specified.

2. Maintain a professional appearance with self and vehicle while also reporting any

emergencies back to the base so that proper authorities can be notified.

3. Carry out other special duties assigned by management.

4. Report any customer service and employee issues, problems, improprieties or

recommendations to the System Manager in order to maintain the integrity and performance

of the operation.

5. Other job assignments as required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Preferred but not required

Knowledge:

Cable TV Principals and Technologies

Knowledge of system procedures, practices, and policies as outlined in training for special

project work

Working Conditions:

Field Environment: Normal business hours will be the schedule which is 8am to 5pm/ Monday -

Friday. The work is in the field on the special project during these working hours.

and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by

this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception,

and ability to adjust focus.

Other:

Successful candidate must pass random drug screenings and have a good driving

record throughout employment.
