Technical Assembler Details

• Assemblers use of hand tools, spot welders, drill presses, arbor press, air and hydraulic presses and simple die sets to create a finished product.
• Full Time work available
• Technical assembly of actuators, controls, hold-open rods, and other components for commercial and military aircraft and ships.
• Temp-to-Hire position
• Any defects must be corrected which will involve disassembly and repair.
• First Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 06:00am to 04:00pm )
• Inspection will include measuring using gauges, scales, calipers, dial indicators, and testing fixtures.
• Assembly will included fitting, filing, reaming, riveting, crimping, adjusting, and inspection.
• $ 19.00 / hour
• Parts are built from blueprints and schematics and must meet tolerance and measurement guidelines.
• This is not assembly line work. This requires the ability to assemble components consisting of many parts of varying lengths to specification.

Technical Assembler Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and assembly diagrams
• Must submit resume and conduct in-person interview
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or submit proof of qualification for an exemption or reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable law.
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• Soldering and brazing are a plus.
• Must have a high school diploma/equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs 30 times per shift. Most items weigh 3-4 lbs
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Must be able to stand for 10-hour shift
