    :

    • Maintain record of survey data.
    • Carries out all other duties that may reasonably be required.
    • Maintain records of survey data.
    • Produce hard copy plans for operations and technical team.
    • Set-out design control, drill holes, and grade control on time according to work priorities.
    • Assist Senior Surveyor with any requested Tasks.
    • Complies with all safety requirements and observes all company policies and procedures.
    • Work assigned Shifts, be on time, and help cover other Surveyor’s absences.
    • Collect geotechnical data at the required interval and according to specifications determined by geotechnical Engineer.
    • Proactively check as built for design compliance as areas are mined and provide additional control as required to remediate variances.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience 1-5 years of experience in a hard rock mining environment preferred.
    • Certifications Survey certification, degree, or formal training course is preferred.
    • Education High School Diploma / G.E.D. is preferred.

    • Safely operate 4WD light vehicles on highways, off-road, and on an active mine site.
    • Must be able to work shift work with 12 hour shifts.
    • Work is in a surface mine setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.
    • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves, and any other protective equipment as required.
    • Be able to walk over rugged terrain up to 6 miles per day in hot & humid and/or cold weather with occasional rain & snow.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, talk, hear, and see.
    • Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.
