Environmental Services Analyst Jobs

Full Salary Range $39,921. - $66,535 Annually Hiring Range: $39,921-$53,228 Annually

Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
The position conducts a variety of organizational studies, inspections and data evaluations and recommends modifications to policies and operational plans to optimize effectiveness of departments operations. Assist in devising alternate methods to provide a safe and productive workplace. Develops and utilizes spreadsheets to track operational costs and monitoring, production, and maintenance data to create historical summaries, evaluate current programs, and monitor permit and regulatory compliance.
Assist with the collection and analysis of soil and groundwater samples related to City permit compliance. Must have previous environmental regulatory, environmental compliance or health and safety experience in order to objectively evaluate operations and data that are heavily regulated. Facilitates and enforces environmental and safety compliance to assist environmental compliance specialists to ensure a safe work environment.
The person in this position must have the ability to evaluate data and scenarios as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. He or she will be relied upon to assume responsibilities, deal effectively with problems, exercise proper judgment when making decisions, and cooperate as a team member.
The position is primarily office-based with routine collection of water and/or soil samples in the field. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
